Here’s a chance for critics of the Springfield News-Leader to do more than just complain about them in a way that makes absolutely no difference.  The News-Leader is searching for news members of it’s editorial advisory board and the application deadline is December 14th.  It’s going to take some effort on your part because you’ll meet with the editorial staff on a regular basis but it’s also a chance to tell them to their face when they’re completely missing the real issues.

It’ll be interesting to see who is chosen for the committee especially if they are an outspoken critic of the News-Leader.  I hope that some of our community’s biggest News-Leader critics (like, say, on the radio) would apply for this.  That could make things very interesting.
